(Process Explorer check that the installation process was started, but stop unexpectedly.) I tracked down the directory of decompression and tried again, but still, setup.exe does not. I downloaded the software package (HP Image Zone 4.1, filename col8356.exe) and unpacked but nothing else - the installation program (setup.exe) is not running. Its connections are being the same, so all I have to do is swap to run the software/driver install. I have a Scanjet 4400c for almost ten years (and it still works fine ), but recently I found one working Scanjet 4070 to a goodwill store and want to know if the thing (the College of physicians in particular).
